HC Semitek had a perfect debut in the new year at the 2015 Guangzhou International Signs & LED Exhibition that concluded on Mar. 4. Nearly one thousand companies participated in this exhibition, the largest in the new year, with a total exhibition area of 80,000 square meters. It attracted more than 60,000 visits from nearly 60 countries and regions around the world.
For the display market, HC Semitek showcased LED chips for indoor small-spacing “high-density” displays, LED chips for outdoor “high-brightness” displays, and red light chips. In 2014, there was a clear trend of indoor high-density high-definition displays and outdoor surface-mounted displays. In response to the high technical requirements of high-density displays for scanning, refresh and gray scale, the future technology development trends of chips are high consistency of wavelength and brightness and strong back pressure and current surge resistance. In response to the development trend of high-brightness outdoor displays, the chip will feature high brightness, good light patter and strong weather resistance. HC Semitek will continue to develop the display market, and adjust product strategies according to market and customer needs.
For the lighting and backlight market, the company showcased the cost-effective, flexible and variable “Yi” serial high-voltage LED chips, “Can” serial backlight LED chips with good anti-ESD capability and consistency, “Yao” serial flip chips with low voltage, high brightness, and high stability and “Yu” serial full-angle luminous filament LED chips. HC Semitek applies its rich experience in the mass-production of display products to the backlight and lighting market, and under the goal of “tailor-made products”, has developed products in response to the terminal market in collaboration with customers.
As the sole LED chip manufacturer participating in the exhibition, HC Semitek with its 91 square meters pavilion attracted customers new and old for visit and exchange, shared the leading-edge technology R&D results in the industry, and explored future technology developments. HC Semitek focuses on the “chips” and develops the white light market on the basis of tapping the display market. In cooperation with packaging customers and application customers, the company carries out system innovation in terms of equipment, materials, structure, and process methods, offering customized chip-level solutions for customers.
